Angelo M. Guagliano, President & Chief Executive Officer

Angelo M. Guagliano serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Max Bermuda Ltd. Angelo has over 25 years of Casualty Underwriting experience, most recently with XL Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd serving as EVP, Country Manager for XL's Bermuda Insurance operations as well as Chief Excess Liability Underwriter and Manager. Angelo joined XL January 1995 and worked in various management positions. Prior to joining XL, Angelo worked for Reliance National in New York from 1988 to 1995 in their E&S Primary Unit. From 1981 to 1988 Angelo worked as a Casualty Facultative Underwriter for Prudential Re and as an Excess Liability Underwriter for the Royal Insurance Company. Angelo began his Underwriting career with Harford Insurance Company in 1979. He holds a BA in Political Science from Queens College.
