Bill Yit, SVP, Casualty Reinsurance

Bill Yit serves as Senior Vice President, Property and Casualty Reinsurance Division. Bill has worked as an actuary since 1984 in several consulting and senior management roles. From 1998 to 2000, Bill served as Chief Actuary for ACE Insurance Company where he was responsible for assessing the adequacy of reserves, capital adequacy and allocation. Bill has held the following consulting positions: President of Risconcept, an actuarial consulting firm based in Toronto, Canada, between 1997 and 1998; Practice Leader of MHL&A, an actuarial consulting firm owned by Sodarcan, between 1994 and 1997; actuarial consultant for Tillinghast between 1992 and 1994; and actuarial consultant for Eckler Partner Limited between 1988 and 1992. Bill earned his Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in 1984, and he holds the following professional designations: FCAS, FCIA and MAAA.
