James Winn, SVP, Property Reinsurance

James Winn joined Max Bermuda early in 2006 and serves as Senior Vice President, US Property Treaty Underwriter. From 2004 to 2005, James served as Deputy Underwriter of Limit Syndicate 566 and, from 2000 to 2004, he served as Property Treaty Underwriter at Limit Syndicate 2000. From 1999 to 2000, James served as Chief Underwriting Officer of Underwriters Re Bermuda and, from 1994 to 1999, he served as Property Treaty Underwriter for Venton Syndicate 376. He was appointed Deputy Underwriter of Syndicate 376 in June 1998. James began his career in 1990 as a North American Treaty Broker at Carpenter Bowring. He graduated from Bristol University with a Second Class Honours degree in Latin is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
