Stephen Meyer, SVP & Actuary, Casualty Reinsurance
Stephen Meyer serves as Senior Vice President and Actuary in the Property & Casualty Reinsurance Division at Max Bermuda, specializing in medical malpractice and excess casualty. Steve brings over 20 years of actuarial experience in the property/casualty industry to Max Re. He began his career at Firemanīs Fund, leaving there in 1997 to be the chief actuary for Hudson Healthcareīs medical malpractice division.
Steve is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He earned his bachelorīs degree in Applied Math (with high honors) from the University of California at Berkeley in 1984.
